  • Reprieve! Macquarie banker David Kiely gets to keep his job!

    Great news for David Kiely, the Macquarie banker who was caught ogling racy pictures of Aussie model Miranda Kerr in the background during a live on-air market report.  He got a reprieve and won’t lose his job over the now infamous web surfing incident!  According to The Australian:

    Macquarie said yesterday that it had “completed an internal review of the events of February 2, and action had been taken after discussions with the employee”.

    “He will remain an employee of Macquarie,” the statement said. Mr Keily, who spent two days on enforced leave, has been at Macquarie for six years.

    “Macquarie and the employee apologise for any offence that may have been caused,” it went on, referring to the fact that broadcaster Channel Seven reportedly received complaints about what happened despite the fact that the offending photographs were hard for television viewers to see…
